Conventional Braces utilize brackets that are bonded to your teeth and hold arch-wires that apply selective force and pressure to gradually shift your teeth to the desired position.

Orthodontic technology has greatly advanced over the past decade, making the brackets not only smaller and more comfortable, but they can also be made out of several different metals, ceramic, or even dental grade plastic. Patients also have more choices regarding the colors of ligature ties and o-rings.

Conditions typically treated with Conventional Braces:

  • Crowding

  • Crossbite

  • Gapped teeth

  • Overbite

  • Underbite

  • Rotated Teeth

Although orthodontic treatment has evolved in recent years, Conventional Braces remain a safe and effective standard of treating a broad spectrum of bite and alignment issues.
